Guru Nanak is Love
God is the only Love
‘Parbrahm Liv Ekang’
Sri Guru Granth Sahib (360)
God is love and love is God.
Furthermore, God cannot be confined, restricted; or limited to any particular creed, cult or race; as well as similarly the religion of love cannot be restricted or confined by geographic locations and boundaries.
Sri Guru Nanak Sahib’s Religion of Love is cosmic and universal in its appeal and dimensions.
Universal Love of Guru Nanak:
Sikhism is a religion that is:-
- Sikhism is based on a perfect and universal Love that is free from any man-made distinctions; such as gender, caste, creed, nationality or status.
- Sikhism is a religion; which radiates with a deep connection and love for the Divine coupled with the highest life goals of purity of heart, mind, body, speech and deeds.
- This is a religion; which establishes brotherhood of the whole global community based on a foundation of love and equality. This brotherhood is based on the idea that we are all equally the children of God.
The ten great Gurus of Sikhism prayed and focused on the well being of the whole global community; they preached universal love.
Those who have loved are those who have found God
For Sri Guru Angad Sahib; the beauty of the whole world pales into insignificance when compared with the Divine Beauty of Lord Guru Nanak.
For Sri Guru Amar Das Sahib; the charm of the whole world is trivial and meaningless in comparison with the Divine Beauty of Sri Guru Angad Sahib-Nanak.
Only Satguru can grace and bless a devoted Sikh, a true disciple with the rare, blissful state and experience of ‘Divine Love‘.
When a devotee begins following a Satguru he transcends the realms of worldliness, the veil of Maya and feelings of desires.
A love smitten Sikh is both absorbed and immersed in, deep contemplation and meditation of his beloved Satguru. He is all the time intoxicated with the Nectar of Guru Consciousness.
True Love is the Highest Stage of Spiritual perfection

Holy Image of God:
Sri Guru Nanak Sahib is the Holy Image of God.
Guru Nanak is a Saint
He whose mind and eyes have become spiritualized; or divinized . If devotees constantly behold this Spiritual Image it becomes; so that they cannot live without this life-breath even for a few moments.
After contemplating and meditating on the Holy Image the devotee’s eyes sparkle and shine in Divine Splendour, in the glory of marvellous Param jot; which means the ‘highest light’ or ‘God’s light’.
Love with the Satguru is the same as with a formless God.
Nonetheless, it is out of Mercy and Compassion for His creation that the Lord embodies forth in the Luminous form.
